A couple of weeks ago I was watching one of the morning news shows and saw a feature about President Obama’s former neighbor. He had decided to sell his Chicago home, but didn’t put a price on it because … well I suppose it was priceless. That’s changed now, according to Zillow.
The “Obama factor” didn’t pan out as planned, so the owners of 5040 S Greenwood Ave, Chicago IL 60615 yesterday were forced to officially set a price and put the home in the Multiple Listing Service (MLS). It is listed for sale for $1,849,000.
I think the plan wasn’t bad, but unless you have more money than sense the price is a pretty important factor when buying anything.
