    Social Network Marketing

I love Facebook with the ability to find old friends, keep in touch with them AND your current friends, play games, decorate virtual houses, and chat live.  However, it’s becoming more apparent that many many Realtors who have Facebook (and make no mistake there are A LOT) are using it exclusively to market their listings or pick up buyers.

While I don’t begrudge anyone the ability to use social networks to keep their name out there as real estate agents, when we start seeing some agents post every hour on the hour advertisement disguised as updates… well it’s getting old.

So I say to you real estate agents out there … go ahead and be a part of social networking, but make no mistake.  People can tell when you’re in it exclusively to advertise yourself and your business.  You may find yourself unfriended without ever realizing it!

And since you’ve read this entire post, go read this one by SwissMiss about “friend” etiquette.  SwissMiss by the way provided the photo.
