    Twitter Came to My “Rescue”

I have heard an open door is the single biggest distraction from selling real estate because the open door invites other agents in.  That’s where this tale begins.  Two of my colleagues came in my office – one had been here for about 30 minutes and the other for about 20 minutes.  Don’t misunderstand … I love talking with them.  We exchange ideas, jokes, discuss real estate, etc.  But I was at the point of only half paying attention when I wrote something on Twitter.  Then I got a call and an avalanche of responses.  Start from the bottom and go up!

Ginger Snaps GingerSnaps Icon_red_lock @vivalalesley Well…you just never know… Just like that guy who tweeted that he got arrested over in what ever country he was in…

Lesley vivalalesley Got a goodnatured chuckle out of the situation at Kathy’s office and the ensuing concern from the twittersphere. :)
Ginger Snaps GingerSnaps Icon_red_lock Whew…I go into "Mama Bear" mode when one of my friends tweets something sounding like they might be in trouble. Glad it was ok. :)
Jeffraham jprestonian @katnap: But… you never ASKED me to leave…! ;)
Kathy katnap Awwww… this is so sweet… but they were colleagues, not predators. But gosh do I feel the love from the Ginge and twitter!

Ginger Snaps GingerSnaps Icon_red_lock @katnap Are you alone? Do you need me to call the police?
Kathy katnap Two middle aged men will not leave my office.

What does this tell me?  It tells me that social networking sites are amazing.  It tells me that I have a lot of friends who really care about my safety.  It tells me I should be more clear when I write!  Thanks, my friends.  You are loved back!
