    Wordless Wednesday: Minneapolis

Bridge8107UPDATE 8-1-07, 8:51 p.m.:  I’m a little bit freaked out now.  After featuring Minneapolis in today’s wordless Wednesday, then to see this horrific bridge collapse… well… I’m just shocked.  My sympathy goes to the people of the Minneapolis area.

The heat and haze of summer have reached the level of oppressive on this August 1st.  On this day 12 years ago, my youngest daughter was born and like today, all I wanted to do was to find a gorgeous swimming pool or quiet lake to relax in and cool off.  Well, 12 years ago I also wanted that baby to GET OUT because it was a month and a week past my original due date (two weeks past my adjusted due date).

So cooling off has been on my mind of late.  What better place to swim than in the land of 10,000 lakes?  Let’s check out this beautiful home in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The owners are selling it for $299,900 or best offer.  Two bedrooms, two baths, two family rooms, two fireplaces.  Two is the operative word.  Let’s look!

    See what I mean?

I love how the sellers must have take the boat away from the dock to take a photo of the house (the first picture).  I can just picture people clinging to a camera while the boat rocks, and trying to get the photo without it blurring.

I leave you with this entertaining little blog about living in Minneapolis.
