While most of us super-heroes fight for justice and freedom, others fight something far more insidious – termites, carpenter ants, mold, and other wood-destroying organisms. We’ve all seen the creepy commercial where the “house” forms a face and chirps happily about the millions of termites living below.

These monsters of the subterranean (then why do they have wings?) can cause major damage to homes. Gustavsgroupie suggests avoiding termites at all costs, especially since it has been discovered that they have the same behavior patterns as social cockroaches. YUCK! Even so, some termites may be rock and rollers, as evidence on film and reported by Fuchsiashockz.
